Welcome to my homepage! I joined Apple Siri recently as a machine learning engineer to help making Siri better.

I was a Research Scientist at Rakuten Institute of Technology (RIT) in Boston, working on product search re-ranking, query understanding and product taxonomy classification. I also organized the SIGIR 2018 eCom Workshop Data Challenge. Please check it out here!

Prior to that, I was a graduate student at Language Technologies Institute in School of Computer Science, Carnegie Mellon University, working with Prof. Eduard Hovy. I completed my undergraduate study in National Taiwan University, majoring in Electrical Engineering.

My research interest lies in the intersection of Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing, especially word/sentence representations, text classification, information extraction and entity discovery and linking.
